Galaxy Shooter
PROJECT SUMMARY
This is a traditional 2.5D shooter that implements the following features:

Varied enemies spawned in progressive waves with weighted spawning.

Multiple power-ups including multiple lasers and homing missiles, spawned with weighted probabilities.

A negative "power-up" to avoid.
-
Buttons for limited thruster and attraction of pick-up items.

Post-processing effects to heighten the experience

Camera shake on attack

Easy exit from the game on hotkey access

For the Final of my Beautiful Games course, I implemented a URP pipeline version of an office den incorporating the following features:

Multiple artfully arranged props sourced from Filebase

Lighting incorporating environmental and artificial sources

Emissions from appropriate objects

Faked volumetrics including light halos and "god rays" from the windows.

For the Final of my Timeline & Cinemachine course, I implemented an interactive experience in piloting a space ship with various camera angles, triggers, and effects:

Multiple points of view including an in-cockpit view and a succession of cinematic angles triggered when idle
