Galaxy Shooter

PROJECT SUMMARY

This is a traditional 2.5D shooter that implements the following features:

  • Varied enemies spawned in progressive waves with weighted spawning.

  • Multiple power-ups including multiple lasers and homing missiles, spawned with weighted probabilities.

  • A negative "power-up" to avoid.

  • Buttons for limited thruster and attraction of pick-up items.

  • Post-processing effects to heighten the experience

  • Camera shake on attack

  • Easy exit from the game on hotkey access

URP Office Dev Level Demo

PROJECT SUMMARY

For the Final of my Beautiful Games course, I implemented a URP pipeline version of an office den incorporating the following features:

  • Multiple artfully arranged props sourced from Filebase

  • Lighting incorporating environmental and artificial sources

  • Emissions from appropriate objects

  • Environmental fog

  • Faked volumetrics including light halos and "god rays" from the windows.

  • Reflection probes

  • Light probes

  • Post processing to build mood

  • Decals to improve realism

  • Particle systems to emulate environmental dust

  • Light cookies to improve realism

  • Occlusion culling to improve performance

URP Space Cinematics Demo

PROJECT SUMMARY

For the Final of my Timeline & Cinemachine course, I implemented an interactive experience in piloting a space ship with various camera angles, triggers, and effects:

  • Multiple artfully arranged props sourced from Filebase

  • Multiple points of view including an in-cockpit view and a succession of cinematic angles triggered when idle

  • Emissions from appropriate objects

  • Starfield through particle effect

  • Surprise encounter at midway trigger

  • Ending cinematic
